Mondays & Wednesdays In Person

Students will arrive at Creekside Campus every Monday and Wednesday from 9:00am - 1:00pm to attend classes with their peers. The purpose of in-person learning is to allow students the opportunity to see the same group of kids, having access the same curriculum, and to allow deep, impactful relationships to form. Parents are able to drop off students at this time if they are not signed up to volunteer.

Classes

Every Monday and Wednesday, students will be participating in core subject classes taught by a credentialed teacher. The core subjects include ELA (English language arts), math, and writing. Students will also be receiving science and social studies lessons through parent volunteers. All science and social studies lessons will be given to volunteers to be taught in the classroom.

The goal of our in-person class time is to offer experiences where students are able to work independently, in pairs, or in small groups. We believe that it is important to provide students with a variety of learning styles. The teacher will teach, lead, and facilitate the learning throughout the day. The purpose of the teacher is to teach to the standard, not the workbook pages in the curriculum.

Class Sizes

Creekside Christian Academy strongly believes in maintaining lower class sizes in order to individualize learning as best as possible. CCA will look into having multiples of the same grade if there is a high enrollment number for a specific grade level. If a grade level has reached its limit, students will be placed on a waitlist until further notice.

Lesson Plans Provided

Upon request, students may be given extra lessons to complete at home in order to reinforce specific skills and standards that were not mastered. If that is the case, parents may reach out to staff members for additional educational resources.

Extra Curricular Classes & Activities

CCA is excited to coordinate school assemblies, plays, picture day, back to school nights, off site field trips, and more!

For an additional price, parents will have an option to enroll their child in extracurricular classes from 1:00-2:00pm at CCA. Classes will differentiate in price according to the teacher. Charter funds will be able to be used for these courses.

Spanish Class

Miss Patty at Shining Stars Preschool offers a Spanish class Mondays-Thursdays from 2:00-3:00pm. Sign-Ups will begin prior to the school year.
