Prayer
Blue Christmas Service
If you are facing Christmas where moments of joy are shadowed by feelings of grief, a health crisis, loss or loneliness, please join us as we worship and seek the Healer of our hearts and the Savior of the world.
Creekside’s Blue Christmas service is for anyone who is suffering and hurting during a season when the world is celebrating.
Registration not required.
Prayer Ministry
At Creekside church, we believe that God is present in our services and moving in each of our hearts in significant ways. And prayer catalyzes change and opens our hearts to God's grace, mercy, wisdom, and power.
We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers each follower of Jesus to pray for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Therefore, our prayers are not wishful thinking but conversations with God, who loves his people and establishes upon the world. Prayer includes intercession, petition, confession, adoration, silence, and responding to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
House of Prayer
Jesus said, “My house is a house of prayer” (Matt 2:13). At each service, we invite everyone to receive a prayer of blessing from our Prayer Team. Our Prayer Team members speak a blessing upon your life, listen to the Holy Spirit, respond to God’s leading, and lift your needs to God, including healing, provision, deliverance, and peace.
Our Prayer Team is most noticeable after each Sunday service. The speaking pastor invites the Prayer Team to pray with anyone coming forward in response to the message or leading of the Holy Spirit. People come forward to connect with God, healing, relationships, family life, and burdens for friends and family.
Prayer Team Members direct anyone needing additional support following the Prayer of Blessing to the Prayer Room. Many requests need more time and attention than a three-minute Prayer of Blessing following a service.
Join Our Prayer Team
Prayer not only changes things in our life, family, community and world; prayer also changes us to reflect more of God’s grace, mercy and justice to everyone around us.
