Aura was 5 years old when her mom led her to the Lord in her bedroom. She grew up in Carmichael and Roseville, then lived in Chicago while going to college. She started serving in her previous church way back in the late 80’s as a kid’s group teacher, and she played the piano for her Jr. High group as well as offertories in “big church.” She married her husband in 2001, and they have two sons, both currently serving in the U.S. Army. She and her family began attending Creekside in 2014, and she joined staff in 2023. She loves music/piano, baking for friends and family, and being outside. Aura’s favorite verse is:
