Janice was born and raised in Sacramento and attended Catholic school through both elementary and high school. She truly met the Lord in 1979 when a friend invited her to his church. In the early ’90s, she and her family moved to Elk Grove and began attending Creekside a few years later.

Janice enjoyed a fulfilling career in healthcare. After retirement, God answered her prayer for a part-time job where she could make a difference. She was blessed to join Creekside’s Kid’s Ministry team in April 2025.

She loves spending time with her family and being outdoors—yardwork and tending to flowers is her form of “dirt therapy.” One of her favorite Bible verses is: Proverbs 3:5–6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
