Randy is married to Lois and they enjoy their three grown children and eight grandchildren. He served in vocational ministry all his adult life. Randy loves the Kings, is a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan, and is proud to be an Ohio State Buckeye enthusiast. He enjoys travel, history and reading and Randy is looking forward to making new friends and growing together. This group is not sermon-based and will be studying the Missionary Journey’s of Paul Acts 13-28.

Zach and Julia recently married in July 2025. They love going to movies and hanging out with community. Zach received his Master’s of Divinity in 2022. Growing up at Creekside, Zach is passionate about helping others find community and life-long friendship in the church. Julia works as a software engineer and has a degree in Business and minor in Bible from Biola University. She enjoys reading and working on creative projects in her free time. Zach and Julia are committed to developing a sound understanding of Scripture and living out everyday life and relationships with biblical wisdom. This group is open to young professional men and women who want to grow in their relationship with Jesus and each other.

Syd and Jennifer Highley have attended Creekside Christian Church for about 15 years and have served in many capacities; most notably Syd with Worship Arts and Jennifer with Christmas Coffees. They have a blended family with three adult children and are proud grandparents to 6 grandchildren, who light up their lives. Jennifer is a cancer survivor who attended the cancer support group for several years. Syd and Jennifer enjoy traveling, gardening and entertaining. They have been LifeGroup leaders for many years and welcome other married couples to grow and learn together.

John and Tamara Krake have four, active children; Kaylee, Jackson, Lucas and little Porter. Their life is busy, chaotic, loud and fun, and they wouldn’t have it any other way. The Krakes understand the awesomeness and difficulties of being a busy family and hope to help others in this same stage of life grow closer to Jesus through fellowship, Bible study and service opportunities. They desire to “do life” together with some activities planned for the whole-family.

Chris Losher has been married to his lovely wife Melissa for 25 years. They love spending time with their young adult children, Courtlynn and Justin. Chris enjoys the outdoors and is an avid fisherman.  The Loschers have led a couples LifeGroup for many years, but Chris is enjoying this season of leading a group just for men. Chris wants to create a group where men can grow in their faith, encourage one another and provide Christian mentorship to the next generation.

Scott and Eva Nelson have been married a long time (3+ decades). They have two grown daughters and have hosted eight exchange students over the years. Their goal is to show love and follow the model of Jesus Christ. They love people, to laugh, and to have adventures. More than anything, they love Jesus. Jerry Sandlin is a financial planner by profession but sports enthusiast by nature. He is an avid bowler and loves Thursday night football. Jerry is opening his home to men Thursday nights with the goal of having fellowship while watching the game and lightly get into God’s Word at halftime. Attendance can ebb and flow as schedules allow.

Tim and Sandy Smithers love Creekside and have served in many capacities in the last 20+ years. They enjoy active retirement and are grateful to spend time with their LifeGroup and four adult children and many grandkids. This group is retired and many of them travel often, so they share hosting responsibilities. They are ready to welcome one new retired couple who wants to share God’s Word, support each other in prayer, and enjoy this season of life together.

Kaleo is a ministry which is comprised of college students and young adults who desire to grow deeper in God’s Word together, engage in gospel-centered community and learn to glorify Christ in every facet and season of life. Kaleo benefits from multiple dynamic LifeGroup leaders who facilitate and lead discussion and prayer on Thursday nights when Kaleo gathers. This group meets all year long and does not take the same breaks as our other LifeGroups. They are thrilled to have you join them!
