Shelby started attending Creekside in 1997 when she was in kindergarten and grew up here at Creekside and in Elk Grove! She (and her parents) was very involved in Awana and that in part led her to join our staff in 2019 full-time. She accepted Christ when she was 5, was married in 2015 and gave birth to twins in 2021. While raising twin infants, and serving full-time, she doesn’t have much free time but when she does she likes to crochet, cross stitch, and play a little Minecraft. Her favorite passage is:

· Ephesians 2:8-10 – For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
