Chaplaincy

We visit to express God's love to a suffering soul.

Chaplaincy Ministry

Chaplains are available to journey with individuals and family members facing end-of-life situations and express love, encouragement and compassion to people experiencing short or long-term health challenges that exclude them from fellowship and church services.

A health crisis, isolation, immobility, being widowed, and the death of a loved one is traumatizing, yet these experiences are catalysts to a personal transformation journey. In addition, these traumatic experiences instantly expose a person's core needs for God's presence and community.

Chaplain Team Orientation

Chaplains serve because they understand their transformation journey through illness, isolation, loss, and grief.  Our Chaplains visit Creekside members who may be in hospitals, rehabilitation centers or homebound.

This training is open to both existing Chaplains who would like a refresher course and those interested in joining the Chaplain Team.

Lunch will be provided.
