Communion

As you stand before this table of remembrance, think about the many choices Christ made on His way to the cross for your sake. Take the bread and the cup. They are mighty symbols to help you remember this Easter about how much your God loves you. Feel free to sit with the elements in your hands as you meditate on 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.

“The Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, took bread, and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, ‘This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.’ For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.”

Jesus’ body was brutally tortured and broken for you. Take the bread and eat it in remembrance of Him. Jesus’ blood was violently (yet willingly) shed for you. In the same way, take the cup and drink it in remembrance of Him.

Want to Talk with Someone?

Understandably, your private time with God may have stirred something that would be best shared with another. Or maybe you would just like to spend a moment praying with someone else. If this is you, text 'need prayer' to 888-111 or use the chat function at the bottom of your screen.

Happy Easter

God bless you! May this Easter season fill you with gratitude for the cross, power for the journey, and joy for the resurrected life of Jesus which lives in you!
