Jennifer moved to Elk Grove and began attending Creekside in 1998. She immediately began volunteering and eventually joined our staff part time as Awana Coordinator in 2008. She joined staff full time in 2015 as Volunteer Coordinator before moving to her current position. At four years of age, her mom led her to the Lord, and Jennifer made a lifelong decision to follow Christ in her early twenties. Married in 1988, Jennifer and her husband Jerry have four adult children and four grandchildren. She was born in Reno and grew up in the Central Valley, Southern California, and the East Bay. Jennifer loves to complete the New York Time crossword puzzle daily, and she enjoys rubber stamping and paper crafting in her spare time. Her favorite passage is:
· Titus 3:5-7 – He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
