I see career coaching as a forward‑focused partnership where I help clients clarify goals, increase self‑awareness, and take meaningful action. I enjoy working with young adults and mid‑career professionals as they navigate college decisions, career pivots, and new beginnings.
I recently retired after 19 years in the financial industry at Northern Trust and BMO (formerly Bank of the West), where I worked as a program manager, technical writer, trainer, and instructional designer. My career has included many pivots —including 3 years teaching junior high ESL in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC, working as a travel agent, and leaving, after 3 months, a dream job as a fashion buyer at Bloomingdales to move to London—which shaped my belief that we can have more than one meaningful career.
I became a Christian at 16 through Young Life, and my faith has guided how I live, lead, and work. As the parent of two sons (ages 20 and 21), I’ve navigated the college application process firsthand and have spent the past six years helping students with college essays, personal insight questions, and résumé workshops. I strive to lead my life—and my work —with integrity, humility, and service, seeking to align my career choices with my values and faith.
