Laurie and I are celebrating 49 years of marriage and have two adult children. During the last 27 years of ministry I served as an executive pastor in two large churches. I retired from ministry in December of 2019 and completed an MA in Counseling under the tutelage of Dr. John Townsend, Townsend Institute at Concordia University, Irvine, CA.

I have decades of experience as a pastoral counselor, time as a professional counselor, and over a decade of experience overseeing the Celebrate Recovery ministry at my last church. There is no greater privilege than to be invited into the spiritual journey of a fellow believer. I hope to enjoy that privilege as a volunteer pastoral counselor.

I grew up in a blended home with seven siblings from three different homes. My spiritual heritage was a blend of Catholic and Baptist traditions and beliefs. Through God’s grace I found the truth of God’s love and grace in my first year of marriage.
