Samuel served as a Global Outreach/Lead Pastor at Crossroads Bible Church in San Jose, California, for 20 years before his retirement from the pastoral ministry. Before that he also served as an associate pastor at First Baptist Church (now called Church on the Hill) in San Jose for 12 years. Samuel and his wife Liz have three adult children and two grandchildren. They became members of Creekside three years ago and lead a LifeGroup that meets in their home. His wife Liz also serves on the search committee for the Senior Pastor.

Samuel has had the privilege of preaching several times here at Creekside. His passion and desire is to shepherd and serve people and using his 30 plus years of pastoral ministry experience to help train pastors and Christian leaders. He is passionate about global missions, and his desire is to see Creekside members become global Christians, with global vision, for we serve a Global God.

His favorite verse is:

· 2 Corinthians 3:18 – And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
