Randy is married to Lois and they enjoy their three grown children and eight grandchildren. He served in vocational ministry all his adult life. Randy loves the Kings, is a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan, and is proud to be an Ohio State Buckeye enthusiast. He enjoys travel, history and reading and Randy is looking forward to making new friends and growing together. This group is not sermon-based.

Zachary Carriker received his Master’s of Divinity in 2022.  Growing up at Creekside, he is passionate about helping others find community and lifelong friendships in the church. Zach is committed to developing a sound understanding of scripture and living out everyday life and relationships with biblical wisdom. This group is  open to young professional men and women who want to grow in their relationship with Jesus and each other.

Shannon Young is an elementary school teacher who enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with her friends and family. Shannon has attended Creekside since she was in the first grade, but didn’t start fully getting involved until a few years ago and now she wants to help encourage others to do the same. This group is designed to help men and women ages 26 – 40 gain a sense of belonging in the church, connect with others in a similar age, and build genuine friendships while growing deeper in God’s Word.

Tim and Danielle Hill are long time Elk Grove residents and are Sacramento natives. They were married in 1996 and have three kids: Kaitlyn (20), Megan (18) and James (16). Danielle has homeschooled all three! The girls are both in college and James is a high school junior. The goal of their life group is to develop deep, Christ centered friendships within the church body and explore God’s word.

Oleg and Nataliya Kapakly immigrated to the USA from Ukraine in 2000. They have been married since 1995 and God has blessed them with three children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law and one precious granddaughter. Oleg and Nataliya treasure Christian fellowship and although they know English, God put on their hearts to host a Russian speaking group. They are eager to learn from the Word of God, share life, pray for each other, and grow spiritually together.

John and Tamara Krake have four, active children; Kaylee, Jackson, Lucas and little Porter. Their life is busy, chaotic, loud and fun, and they wouldn’t have it any other way. The Krakes understand the awesomeness and difficulties of being a young family and hope to help others in this same stage of life grow closer to Jesus through fellowship, Bible study and service opportunities. They desire to “do life” together with some activities planned for the whole-family.

Bill & Tori, have been married for over 50 years. They live in West Sacramento close to their youngest daughter and her husband and their wonderful grandchildren, Allison and Oliver. Bill is a retired pastor while Tori still has a small book keeping business. They both love and worship Jesus. They host a West Sacramento LifeGroup and invite you to join them in the Christ-centered adventure.

Larry and Tina Tamayo married in 1981 and have been committed Creekside members since 1994. They have three grown children, Lorina, Goldeen and Ezekiel, who are all married and serving the Lord. They delight in their three grandchildren. Larry has a passion for God’s Word and for missions and graduated from WJU with a degree in Bible Theology and Mission. The Tamayo’s have served in many capacities over the years and started the Filipino-American Fellowship of Creekside in 2008. This group meets year-around and all are welcome to join together as Larry teaches the Word of God weekly.

Kaleo is a ministry which is comprised of college students and young adults who desire to grow deeper in God’s Word together, engage in gospel-centered community and learn to glorify Christ in every facet and season of life. Kaleo benefits from multiple dynamic LifeGroup leaders who facilitate and lead discussion and prayer on Thursday nights when Kaleo gathers. This group meets all year long and does not take the same breaks as our other LifeGroups. They are thrilled to have you join them!
