Having accepted Christ at the age of 29, Elenita started attending Creekside at the end of 1998 and joined the staff in 2011. She has three kids: Michael (32, serving at Sun Grove in the worship ministry), Gienele (21, serving here at Creekside in the worship ministry), and Gienette (16, serving here at Creekside in the Childrens ministry). Elenita was born in the Philippines and came to the United States in 1980 the day Reagan became President. Her family lived in the Bay Area before moving to Sacramento in 1989. She likes to take day trips with her girls, explore and hang out at coffee shops. Quiet time/solitude is how she fills her bucket. She has many favorite Bible verses, one or two for every season in life:

· She always like to begin my New Year with Psalm 65:11 – You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.

· When her daughter was diagnosed with a chronic illness, she turned to Mark 5:34 – And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”

· When a need arises: Philippians 4:19 – But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
